Postdoctoral Position in National Hispanic Scholarship


The National Hispanic Scholarship successful candidate will fill the position before the start of the academic year 2011/12. Israel Post-Doctoral Fellowships National Hispanic Scholarship


National Hispanic Scholarship The United States-Israel Educational Foundation (USIEF), the Fulbright commission for Israel, offers 8 fellowships to American post-doctoral researchers in support of work to be carried out at Israeli universities during the course of the 2012/2013-2013/2014 academic years.

The National Hispanic Scholarship US Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program is open to candidates in all academic disciplines.

Program grants total $40,000, $20,000 per academic year.

Program National Hispanic Scholarship fellows must be accepted as post-doctoral researchers by Israeli host institutions, which agree to provide them with a standard post-doctoral grant, which they will receive in addition to their Fulbright Fellowship. Thus, the total financial support received by Program Fellows is likely to be in the range of at least $35,000-$40,000 per year.

Applications for 2012/2013-2013/2014 Fulbright Post-Doctoral Fellowships must be submitted to the Council for International Exchange of Scholars by August 1, 2011.

Japan World Bank National Hispanic Scholarship Program


The National Hispanic Scholarship mission of the World Bank Group is to reduce poverty and improve living standards through sustainable development and investment in people. The World Bank Institute (WBI) is at the forefront of the Bank’s efforts to promote learning and deliver to the stakeholders, the best thinking and experience emerging from around the world on issues crucial to reform and socio-economic development.

Through its management of the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate National Hispanic Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) and the Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program (RSM Fellowships), WBI supplements its training programs by providing opportunities for graduate study to promising professionals from developing member countries.

The objective of the National Hispanic Scholarship and Fellowship Programs is to help create an international community of highly-trained professionals working in the field of economic and social development. The community will actively participate in the capacity building efforts in the developing countries.

Respective candidates are encouraged to carefully go through both the JJ/WBGSP and RSM Fellowships and review the eligibility criteria. For the JJ/WBGSP Regular Program and RSM Fellowships candidates apply directly to the Secretariat at the World Bank Headquarters.
